iPhone firmware update 2.0.1 available now

The iPhone firmware update 2.0.1 is currently available through iTunes. It’s available both for the iPhone as well as for the iPod touch.

Yes, its here – the latest and greatest firmware from Apple. Its a huge file (about 249MB). But most people reckon it’s worth it since it is able to fix the bugs that were prevalent in the 2.0 version firmware and also allows for faster response time and syncing as well. Only problem is that the current Pwnage Tool doesn’t work on it and it could render the iPhone 3G unlockable. Or would it? What’s your say? How soon before we see this version unlocked?
