Google Chrome finally on Mac and Linux?

Submitted by newgadgetsguru on September 22, 2008 – 2:32 amNo Comment

Well not exactly. But sort of. Ok before I confuse you further, here’s the juicy story. Codeweavers, which is the company behind crossover office have released a version of Google Chrome for the Mac and Linux machines. It is called the crossover chromium and yeah you guessed it – not an official product from Google. But it will have to do for now?

When Google Chrome was released, there was a lot of disappointment that there wasn’t a version for Linux or Mac available. It looks like codeweavers have taken that into consideration (are you listening Google?) and come up with the crossover chromium. Word is that codeweaver chromium works on Intel Macs and not on Power PCs. Have you used it? What are your thoughts?
