fujitsu-siemens-zero-watt-pcNow isn’t that nice – a zero watt PC from Fujitsu Siemens. Now lets not get our hopes up – yes it still needs power when its operating. But this PC promises not to consume any power when in standby mode. In comparison, a lot of other PCs while in standby mode still consume about 5 watts of power when connected to the main power. How wasteful is that?

The ESPRIMO Green PC s have been designed to overcome this energy wasting problem. It consumes no power and is still operable. Fujitsu Siemens will be launching this green PC sometime by the middle of the year. Fujitsu also plans to showcase its lineup of environmentally friendly PCs during the CeBIT show during March. Well we’ve seen environmentally friendly phones, but this is definitely something new for PCs. Would you buy one?
