Does anyone know if there is an unlock coming any time soon for the iPhone 3.0 OS firmware due out tomorrow? I want to upgrade to 3.0, but want to keep it unlocked as well.

Hi Unlock iPhone 3G,

Yes I have followed this procedure and successfully unlocked my iPhone 3G running on version 2.2. Just make sure of the below 2 items:

1. You must jailbreak the iPhone
2. After the unlock if you still dont get a signal, try to toggle the airplane mode on/off. I have provided the details at the end of the post.
