Submitted by newgadgetsguru on January 20, 2009 – 1:39 pm3 Comments

lg-xcanvas-bobosLG Korea has made some big announcements – the launch of 2 amazing plasma display panel (PDP) TVs. The 2 models that have been announced are the Xcanvas bobos 50PQ60D (50”) and the 42PQ60D (42”) PDP TV. These 2 TVs are definitely a cool addition to your living room. Here are the top 3 features which particularly stand out in this TV:

- “Mega” contrast ratio of 1,000,000,000 :1
- 600MHz (600fps plasma panel)
- Ability to play various video files (WMV or Divx) directly from their USB ports

Definitely tempting I must say. Currently these 2 models are available for around 1,400,000 to 2,000,000 Korean Won ($1020 to $1457). Not a bad deal!
