New in car navigation systems from Alpine
Alpine has recently introduced a trio of in car navigation systems. The 3 models are:
IVA-W203/P1
IVA-W505/P1
IVA-D106
The IVA-W203/P1 and the IVA-W505/P1 are double din units. There are quite a lot of features that you can expect from these devices. They offer support for iPods / sat ratio / HD Radio / Bluetooth, preloaded NAVTEQ maps of the US and Canada, a foursome of map viewing options and text-to-speech for good measure.
The IVA-D106 is a single din unit. It also offers a slide-out 7-inch touch panel, 18-watt x 4 amplifier and support for navigation via the optional NVE-P1 drive. The units are available for sale already for $1,100, $1,400 and $350 respectively. You can get your entertainment not only from iPod but also bunch of other formats such as DVD, CD, MP3, AAC, WMA, DivX.. pretty much any media file you can get your hands on. It also has bluetooth connectivity for syncing with your compatible phone – and you can even set it to take calls automatically. Pretty interesting in car navigation systems from Alpine!
