Nintendo Wii shipments hit 50 million

nintendo-wii1Nintendo Wii has shipped more than 50 million units since its launch becoming the fastest growing device in the gaming console market. It is also to be noted that around 20 percent of Wii households in the United States, or 3 million people, had no other video game system in their home when they bought the console.
