SmartQ’s HDTV player introduced

Submitted by newgadgetsguru on March 18, 2009 – 6:28 pmOne Comment

smartq-hdtv-playerSmartQ has so far been launching portable media players and recently they seem to have set their sights on this HDTV player. Its basically a set top box which can be used to watch HD videos from their PC on their TV. The desktop set looks to have some serious power, normally such sets within China are geared for the HD RMVB playback, but this device will be able to play a multitude of HD video formats.

The device looks promising with features such as HDMI 1.3 and there’s also a pair of USB 2.0 ports for connecting external HDDs and the like. Unfortunately not much details are available except for those mentioned on the photo above. Certainly something to look out for!
